Jabu Mahlangu
Jabu is a Director and CEO of Ligwa. He is a registered Chartered Accountant, IRBA member and a Commercial Forensic Practitioner, South Africa and has more than 30 years’ experience. Jabu has vast experience in the forensic audit and investigation space and has been involved in numerous matters covering a broad spectrum. His past appointments, other than investigations for State Departments, SOCs, regulators and corporate clients, include being an inhouse forensic accountant for the erstwhile Office for Serious Economic Offences, assisting in the Arms Deal investigations and undertaking investigations for the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture. Other than presenting expert evidence in court, CCMA, arbitration and disciplinary hearings, Jabu has also carried out several statutory appointments and had to date obtained three Top Secret security clearances.
Fulu Mamburu

Fulu is a Director at Ligwa. She is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Commercial Forensic Practitioner, South Africa and a qualified Internal Auditor with more than 20 years’ experience. Fulu has been at Ligwa since its inception. Fulu has vast experience in both the public and private sector and is well recognised in the industry for not only her experience in the forensic and internal audit fields, but also her drive to empower young professionals. Fulu has extensive experience in conducting not only forensic investigations, but also internal audit and fraud risk management reviews. She has testified in numerous CCMA, arbitration and disciplinary matters.
Vinnie Mamburu
AGA(SA), CIA, CISA
Vinnie is a consulting Associate Director at Ligwa. He previously worked as a Director for Internal Audit at the Department of Justice, served as a specialist for a leading telecommunications company and was a partner at one of the big four firms. Vinnie has more than 25 years’ experience within the internal audit, fraud and risk management and governance space and is highly regarded amongst his peers.
